JB4 0-60 calculator -
09-14-2017, 03:44 PM
Does the JB4 mobile record 0-60 times? I see it as an option in the app but it doesn't show anything. Wondering if it's just me or it actually doesn't work. Is there any other way to record an accurate 0-60 time without a vbox? Thanks!

The app does, but only if speed output is enabled on the JB4... With the latest update the JB4 outputs speed to the app all the time so once Donnie updates the app, it should work perfectly.

There is a wheel speed (FUA 56 I think) option and a GPS speed option.

Phone GPS is too slow to be useful I think but you can ask Donnie on that.

Has it been updated so the app reads the speed output all the time per Terry's post above?
I have yet to get the 0-60 timer to do anything - assuming I am not using it correctly.. ?

Any info on this? Just ordered my JB4 and was hoping I could get 0-60 and 1/4 mile times on the App.
For $30...you would think so
App is iOS.

You have to manually start logging before you take off - if you are only using auto logging (which starts a log based on throttle input), there is a slight lag before the log starts so it won't start recording at 0mph and thus won't record a 0-60 time.
You have to hit start log manually, do your 0-60, then hit stop logging. Once you go to the logs page and click on a log, it should show your 0-60 time for that run there (if available), near where you click to view a graph, view the csv data, email the log file, etc.
