They are map5 logs but seem fine to me!

Hesitation between 2-3K RPM -

Hey everyone. I am experiencing some hesitation or missing under light to moderate acceleration. Car is not throwing any codes. I have attached a log of a full throttle 3rd gear pull. Any ideas why I would be experiencing this under light to medium acceleration? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

You probably should manually turn on record under the light to medium acceleration. From the log at WOT, AFR and trims look fine. Timing really drops during the beginning of the pull (<5 degrees), almost like you're commanding too much boost too early. Maybe try and go back to map 1 or 0 and see if the issue goes away.
Oops sorry Terry here are my Map 6 logs, 2019 Q50 Silversport 93 octane, HKS ** and fuel wires
It's fairly aggressive for 93 but if it's working for you then roll with it.

It's my first time testing it out maybe I'll dial it down 1 psi, if you are saying fairly aggressive. I don't want to ruin or break anything. I just ran Map 6 today.
Appreciate the input! Mind taking a look at this log? Pushed it to +5 last night, Ign dipped to 2 at 3000ish, but went back up. Is it normal to dip that low?
Added a FB101 on Monday, and AMS lowers going on Friday, looking fwd to some fresh logs and hopefully feeling the power gains from the lowers
You will love the AMS LDP
Be sure to save some $’s for the BMS WMI - early results / logs on my Q50 are impressive. Soon as I have the settings dialed in I will go back to the dyno and post the results.

Thanks for your input. I did some runs at moderate throttle and have attached a file for your review. I have also attached a pic of my Map 6 settings. I may not be understanding something, but I am not sure how I could be commanding too much boost too early since I don't even add any boost until 3,000 RPM. Anyway, if you graph the .csv file, you can see how the RPM seems to increase sporadically, which shows what I am talking about.
Also, in researching this, I found that my Future Use D, Bit 7 was turned on. I don't recall turning it on. Does it default to "on" with update to the new firmware version? Also, what should the "default" setting be? Mine was somehow set at "129." I turned Bit 7 off for this run for which I attached the .csv file. Thanks.

Your timing is pretty low the entire pull, but that's likely due to the boost you're running. My hunch is that right at 5900 might be a hint of knock. It isn't a serious drop like we normally see, but there shouldn't be a timing drop that high in the rpm range. I'm actually surprised its not worse given the amount of boost youre running with no meth.

No idea on the bit 7 being 129 thats wierd. I dont think I had mine on. Only thing I use is the fuel wires enabled bit and meth bits. As far as the log, yes I see the rpm "stair step", that is odd. You running 93? It almost looks like its spark breaking up, like you need to do plugs. When's the last time you've done basic maintenance like air filters and put some fuel system cleaner in it?

Appreciate the input again, definitely helps with trying to understand reading the parameters. I'll go back down to +4 since that log seemed a lot cleaner.

Recovering from food poisoning so maybe missing something here, but not much WOT here to look at.
Bit7 is an option to dampen part throttle boost per notes in the first post.

Are there any plans of adding actual transmission fluid temperature, to the parameters of the JB4 for those of us doing our own transmission fluid changes?

We don't currently have the logging PID for it so until we find that we can't add it.

This may be a dumb question but after logging a few runs, I've noticed the stock ecu psi on my RS seem to max out at 13.1psi at 4500rpm while others seem to be able to hit higher ecu psi. Is this where better fuel comes into play?
Ordered LDP's, with LDP's not being restrictive as stock cats will stock ecu psi be higher?

ECU psi depends on IAT, fuel used, elevation, etc. It's never an absolute target, so it does vary.
