No we've been running hot side WMI for years on BMW applications. There are trade offs vs. cold side but no reliability concerns.

Info about the controller and how it interfaces with JB4? I would rather inject into the intake manifold post sensors and turbo, as well as install the tank under the hood instead of the trunk. Will the ordering be customizable enough to do that?

Looks like we have a VR30 Kit on the website. Install instructions are BMW engine centric - are there plans to update them so we have a more cookie recipe to follow for the VR30 ?

Terry since this thread is specific to meth injection, can you give an overview of how to setup the JB4 for Map 8? I.e. boost additive, signal scaling, min flow boost, etc.? Is the boost a tapered additive like the other maps, meaning we cannot use map 6 AND meth?

There are settings to enable WMI flow on all maps. But initially we suggest only using WMI with map8, the additive determines how aggressive the boost target is under full flow.
As customers start sharing WMI logs in this thread we can dive in to the details.

Is map 8, 8 psi over stock? It would be nice to get some added details around using this since its integrated with JB4 and there's little info. |

Map8 runs from 0psi to 10psi over stock depending on the WMI additive settings and meth flow.

That is the type of info needed. I'm struggling to understand how you're selling a kit, one that is highly integrated with your add on tuner, without explaining or showing how it works and what to adjust.

That's because we don't want anyone to make dramatics adjustment to the default settings yet, until we see their WMI data.
The basic concept is simple though. When on map8 WMI flow is enabled based on internal mapping, and boost is transitioned between a low boost map and a high boost map as a function of that WMI flow. The additive setting determines the maximum transition. The low map is similar to map1, and the high map is similar to map7.
