Did you get a response about the new file?

I run the pump2 flash. Terry is the man to explain the differences between the two maps.

I asked Terry and he just said there was nothing major as far as differences between the two BEFs. I've flashed PUMP2 but only driven about 40 miles with it. Can't really tell a difference, but I haven't got any logs yet.

It’s like the jb4 and Mhd aren’t on the same page.

I am new new here. Please forgive me if I post this question in the wrong place.
I have 2011 335i xdrive N55
I was wondering if someone can explain the difference between the JB4 BEF files pump_usa.bin vs Pump.bin?

Go to the Support and Logs area and ask there. I'd be interested too. I flashed the 9E60B pump2 bin and it ran great.

Hybrid maps? -
12-08-2020, 01:20 AM
I'm not sure what maps are the "hybrid Turbo" maps when I download the file with all the maps? does anyone know which maps they are? I'm looking for the BEF map for PS2. Thanks in advance.

Hey, now that I have my MHD/BEF/JB4 system up and running well, is it too late to try the MHD burble feature? I mean, can I reconnect my phone to the OBD2 port, toggle on the burble, hit flash and have it work?

Yes, you can flash and change settings as often as you want. I have done it at least weekly since it came out a year ago for late E series.

Firstly, solid thread. Thank you!
Im wondering which BEF file I need to use for running my N55e DCT on 98ron? I’m not currently running and xhp gearbox tune, but I’m considering it. Also will this need to change when I install a Pure stage 1 turbo (it’s my daily) and fmic?

You need to run the pump flash. The back end flash is based on the fuel used. I have the exact same N55 with DCT in a e92. The pump file is good for all pump fuels but can also go upto an e30 mix. I will eventually get the Xhp flash as I have heard great things about it.

Thanks Buzz@N55, there are quite a few pump files so I was hoping to clarify which one.
9E60B_PUMP.bin
9E60B_PUMP2.bin (this is the most recently updated)
9E60B_PUMP_THR.bin (from my reading this is if you have the xhp gearbox tune)
98G0B_PUMP.bin
98G0B_PUMP_135_DCT.bin
98G0B_PUMP_THR.bin

Build date is March 2013.
9E60B_PUMP2.bin looks like the latest version.

If your in America use the 6E60B. PUMP.bin the PUMP2 is for eu car and removes the DTML function so you don’t get codes for it. Terry did it recently for my car as I’m in Australia and get the euro speck bmws here
