Added a 2012 335is N54 DCT to the stable -

Hey guys,
CARB is requiring us to test some of our products on a 2012 335is so we figured why not pickup another DCT model to further enhance JB4 development on that front. This is our 4th active DCT development car but first with the N54 platform. Our 2015 M3, 2015 M5, and 2011 135i are also DCT equipped vehicles.
We've got some fun stuff planned for the car too after emissions testing is complete.

Awesome!!
Hopeful for some new enhancements for us DCT N54 owners! We are rare and few... But in my biased option, have the most tunable engine (N54) coupled with the best transmission for the E9X platform!

So, does this mean more development for the 1M as well? Don't they use the same OEM tuning on both vehicles?

We've got the 1M tuning down pretty solid. The 335is DCT is a bit unique and while we have the best maps out for them already... They are only going to improve now.

Damn you have quite the lineup of BMW's  Can't wait to see what you do with this one. You thinking hybrids or single turbo? I think this car with hybrids @650+whp would be nasty in the 1/2 mile.

For the N54, yes, although nothing too exciting. Our DCI should be the first approved N54 product.

Stock, It acted weird but didn't really slip. Felt lazy or laggy. Didn't slip though. Went out to test out map 5 and it was clearly slipping. I'm gonna take it easy on it. Maybe it needs to learn or something. Then when my tablet gets here I'll put the IS BEF on it

No reason for a DCT to slip on just a JB4, I'm running 18+ psi on MHD flash and the DCT is fast and smooth as ever

Hi Terry.
Do you have the possibility to read out the ZUSB-Number (BMW Software Number) from this car -> maybe with the MHD-Tool?
I'm asking because I own a N54 DCT but not 335iS -> was never sold in Europe
It's possible to flash the 335iS Software onto these cars as ECU hardware is the same. Would make tuning much easier I think.
