Default JB4 mobile issue - 03-16-2020, 04:59 AM
I have an error coming up on the JB4 mobile, everything seems to work but this keeps coming up. As soon as i hit ok everything works again.

Any assistance would be great.

Usually you can run the cable on the app. You clicked OTG cable in your settings?

so i have plugged the laptop into the usb connection and have no issues.

The attached screen shot is a new error i got today vis the usb to android screen. If i hot ok it goes away and i have no issues other than it coming back in a few minutes

I will attach the jb4 connector this weekend to test if i get the same error

I'm having the same exact issue coming up- "Error getting JB4 firmware version-defaulting to other".
This seems like an issue others are having now,seems like an issue on Burgers end when trying to retrieve the firmware for the JB4.
Can we get a fix or resolve for this issue please?

This indicates some kind of signal corruption. Possible causes:
*Improper installation location
*Faulty phone/tablet
*Electrical/device issue

Next test would be to try connecting from another phone/tablet.
