For anyone curious, I put my 135i on the scale to see how much it weighed when I ran that 10 second pass...





When I'm in the car, it's 3450lbs. Light driver mod.

Well, I went back to the drag strip the other day. Made a decent shakedown pass, well on my way to setting a personal best.



Then I snapped an axle. This is the 3rd stock axle that I've snapped.





I'm sick of throwing junkyard axles in it and driving like I'm on glass, so I decided it's time to give the car the parts it really needs.

Hi, please ... You need to slip the clutch and pre-engage the clutch pedal... If you keep making those on/off pedal clutch at 6,500rpm of course you are keep breaking axles or diff in perpetuity.

Yeah, I'm still perfecting my foot work. This clutch doesn't make it easy, lol. Very on/off.

Yup, for manual transmissions. A few have joined since that post.

I'm currently installing new turbos. Pure600. I'm hoping with a good tune and very low turbo lag I can get close if not in there
