Default 135i N55 vs M2, M3, M4 FBO & 335i N55 + Dyno Run! - 08-21-2017, 02:58 PM

Hey Everyone,
Just wanted to share some races that I ran last weekend at a private event at the local drag strip.

My car is FBO, with BMS WMI kit and FSB. MHD on Back end Flash (Pump map) and E30 mix in the tank.

Nice video...

That 135i with a DCT and a turbo upgrade will be deadly.

Thanks Terry! This was possible due to BMS and your amazing customer support, sorry for all those e-mails asking a ton of questions for JB4/WMI/BEF settings lol.

Good luck launching the DCT with Pure stage 2 :P I haven't had any luck. Proper drag tires might do the trick, but I'm also worried about snapping something.

Then plan is to lower boost on 1st and maybe 2nd gear as well, and let 3rd and 4rd gear do the dirty job.

Should work nicely(if you want to leave two 60ft long black lines).
Good luck tho!

I was going to ask for your Tire/wheel setup, but I just saw it on your signature.
So, what's your best approach to this? How did you managed to get your best traction fix?

Best way to launch I've heard of is to "catch" the launch control after initializing it then coming off the accelerator until rpm falls to around 3k then removing break pedal and stomping.
I haven't tried this because I had kickdown off in mhd last time out.
I hear you can ping a 1.8 but timing the light is impossible.

Yeah I actually tried that method during the race vs the yellow M3.
Here's the raw clips when I tried the kickdown method:

**** sorry brother, forgot to change the video status from Private to Public.
Unfortunately this track does not measure 60ft or even trap speed. They only offer the 1/4 mile time and reaction time. Best pass was 13.1 sec and a ~.580 reaction time.
This track is located at Mexico at 5500 ft above sea level, that's why the times are super high.

Sorry, I didn't got any log during the Dyno runs. But here are the ones taken during the drag races vs the M3 and the M2.
