Babied the car for the first 100 miles on my new turbo. My tech also re-installed my JB4 with the new turbo. I adjusted all user settings and flashed the large turbo pump back end. Just went to finally give the car some gas and I get no boost. The car was pressure tested and smoke tested so it's not a crazy leak anywhere.

The only code being thrown is 3BCF. I'm not sure what this code is based off of the fault code list.

I attached a short log, don't really want to drive the car as it is. You can see boost is hitting only a max of 3 psi.

Anyone have any idea why boost will not come even close to target? My shop is closed and I am furious right now lol.

I believe when boost is far off target and PWM is maxed (or near maxed), that chances are there is a boost leak—it would seem yours is quite large at that.

Hmm. The car was pressure tested and held 18 lbs without a problem. It was also smoke tested just to make sure.

I guess the fun begins in trying to track this down lol.

That would suggest something's happened post install. There's no way looking at that log that you would hold 18psi without a problem

Thanks for the replies. Haven't had time to update today. Issue resolved. Vacuum line somehow came off of the wastegate. Glad it was something simple
