Stage1 turbos are similar enough to OEM there are no special requirements for them.

I am running my stage 1 with just JB4 and CP (FMIC and DP waiting to go in). You can run a special map 6, but I find map 5 is working quite well too.

You don't need the 3.5bar sensor unless you plan to go over 21psi, which you shouldn't with a stage 1.
Backend flash is a good idea if you can do it.

The one log I looked at is low boost. I'd raise the additive...

Whats the best fuelling option for us N55 with new style hpfp?
Vtt hpfp solution wont fit. That leaves port injection, upcoming fuel it tb injection and meth.
Whats your opinion Terry? What integrates best with jb4 + failsafes etc?

For an F30 I'd just stay with meth, for now.

For anything < 500whp meth provides a proven & affordable solution. If you are shooting for > 600whp then PI is probably the way to go. But, we've done zero development on it. PURE is the only company I know currently testing it out. So I'd get with them for feedback on how effective it is for the application.

Hi Terry, I'm running a 2011 135 DCT.
I have bms intake, chargepipe, intercooler, occ, oil tstat, jb4 iso 5.5 plus flex, stage2 lpfp and n20 tmap. Not running meth!☺
Am installing vtt s2 next week and was planning on running map 5 on 60% e85 40% 93 pump along with your cobb back end flash.I will post logs to the support section, just wanted to know if this seems like the right set up initially,
Cheers,
Stoolz.

My guess is you will run into fuelling issues if you up the boost.

Page one of this thread Terry mentions the hpfp could handle up to 60% Ethanol.
I wont wind the boost up it will be map 5 preset.

Yes map5 will run boost based on octane. Since your octane will be pretty high with E60 you can expect high boost. High boost means more air, more fuel needed. Hence I think your hpfp might not flow enough.

Maybe that was with an upgraded LPFP? Several of us have found we can't go nearly that high. I am on a stock fuel system and E40 is my borderline. I run E35 to be safe. I tried E45 and had fueling issues.

So 60% Ethanol is not the figure then? Does anyone know the figure? Roughly ? As per my first post have Fuel it stage 2 lpfp.
