I'm trying to download the latest firmware using the iPhone app. I've done this numerous times before without a hitch but, this time, I'm not confident I've found the right post. Can you provide slightly more detailed instructions, please.

Thanks!

Keep the logs rolling in, especially the comp cars, and anyone using race fuel on maps 3+, so we can continue to refine the targeting and squeak as much power as we safely can out of it.

Don't put exhaust mods on a car under warranty, it's so easy for them to deny coverage due to them, and such a headache to remove them later.

Soooo, I just turned the tune off for a few days since I find it brings the transmission back into line a bit--outside of the transmission becoming more compliant, I don't recommend it... the car feels positively boring.

Tweaking my friend's setup until mine arrives since he's a total noob and we want to get him dialed in before we do the flash in a few weeks and have good baseline stock, jb4 and flash then flash/jb4 maybe.

Does the main page default settings must be used with the new firmware too?
Trying to understand how the boost by gear now works?

Just looked at my stock logs and car is doing 21-23 with ********* and intakes in 90F ambient is that about right ?

It's a reduction now with the latest firmware. So 3psi reduces boost in 1st by 3psi.

I believe you're hitting the 'Boost Safety' limiter. At least, that's the only trigger I know of for automatically dropping into valet mode. Terry will obviously know more...

Post a log and lets see which safety you are triggering and the best way to fix it.

Hey guys been running JB4 in my 2018 M5 for few months now, love it!
I just got my car back from dealership where i took it for service. They had flashed my DME with a new update "i level" update to be exhaust.
When i picked up my car first thing i had noticed how loud the exhaust got, it never popped and crackled the way it does now, basically sounds just like the com.
After driving it and enjoying the blessing from BMW dealership i shortly realized that the JB4 isn't working or least to say isn't pulling as it used to. I took the car to service while it was in map 0, and my guys there know i have jb4 they said i shouldn't have any problems after their refresh but what do they know...

anyways has anyone got the i level update while jb4 installed, i can't be the only one who's ran into this problem.

Thank you
