Default BigBoost Turbo releases teaser for B48 turbo upgrade - 03-25-2017, 07:05 PM

Big Boost Turbo announces the new turbo upgrade kit for all BMW cars using the new B48 engine.

After months of testing we will be releasing this new product which makes these cars real fun to drive, giving it the power of a stock B58 and more!

There will be stage 1,2 and 3 depending on customer's needs. The only difference between these is the turbo size, making it possible to upgrade to a more powerful stage if needed.

Advantages:
- No core charge
- Cost effective
- Non-restrictive turbine housing (No back-pressure)
- Twin scroll manifold (A.K.A. Twin Power Turbo)
- Simple installation

Prices starting at $2,399 USD

Hello may I ask whether you guys recommend to have additional cooler with this stage 2 turbo?

I have ordered a set of stage 2 turbo and my technician want to know whether he should install both the additional cooler and turbo at one go? Or the turbo produce less heat at JB4 map 2 so the stock cooling system is good to go at this moment unless it is push beyond map2?

Our local fuel will be 98ron as standard.

We have had really good results with the stock cooling system, we do not see it necessary right now..

Nice to know additional cooler at this stage will not blow the engine instantly.

May I ask whether you have any comparison between the stock turbo and the stage 2 turbo? Such as the temperature, boost level, diamention, efficiency of the two?

How much more push will this turbo do to the engine compared to the stock turbo?
