Default JB4 PUMP BEF XHP and exhaust burble questions - 05-02-2018, 01:10 PM

1) I have Jb4 PUMP BEF currently installed, once I do xhp stage 3 flash do I need to reflash BEF with MDH Xhp option so that flash report higher torque to TCU?

2) Does MDH exhaust burble option work with JB4 bef and what is the safest settings to run. Or not run at all.

thanks in advance!

1) Yes

2) Yes, burble works. Heard mix reviews about safety.

I don’t see the xhp option anymore on the bef options, where you’d see coils, burble etc. haven’t for quite sometime actually..

thanks Payam!
Can someone please confirm regarding XHP and JB4 BEFs? I found some information that BEF already reports higher torque to TCU so it doesn't need that option with MHD.

Hi Terry!
it would be great if you could share your expert opinion about BEF/MHD xHP flash options.

Can someone confirm? do we need pure MHD flash to take full advantage of Xhp flash capabilities? I was hoping JB4 BEF would work with xHP since I am already heavily invested in JB4 platform. I don't mind paying more $ to get full MHD license and stage 2 flash to increase transmission reliability.

I tried to flash BEF again with options but I don't see any AT Xhp option there. I thought that option was available for Jb4 BEF in past? Can someone from BMS please confirm what is expected as of 2018?

I'm on race flash on my JB4 with xhp stage 3, so far what I got earlier from terry that no changes required.

But would also be interested to hear if any update on that.
