Hey guys, I'm looking into getting a rs3 but don't know much about Audi. Which Audi forum is the "best" for reading up on rs3 modding and tuning besides this one? Thanks

If you're in the US, I've found this one to be the best: RS 3 Specific

Just like bimmerpost, sometimes people can be a little arrogant. But at least most people actually wrench on their cars on audizine.

Cool, checking it out. I see that you have some APR parts. 034 motorsports is a bit more local to me, do you know if they are still a reputable company in the Audi scene?

Yes, I run 034 dogbone inserts and rear subframe bushing inserts. They are very reputable in RS3 scene. The only reason I have the APR ECU flash is because they were the only tuning company that supported 100% E85 without any hardware changes. I think 034 requires bigger port injectors, still, but that could have changed.

100% e85 does sound nice on oem hardware. Looks like a fun platform for fbo+ DD

None of the stage1 E85 flashes require larger injectors.

APR does not require larger injectors for their stage 2 E85 but this does not exist anymore since they dropped all stage 2 tunes and related hardware.

Most other stage2 E85 tunes do require upgraded injectors.

Upgraded injectors are recommended on stage 2 E85 because the stock port and DI injectors are at the limit.

I have DS1 tune and I've calculated the stock port injectors to be about 160-170cc. Really small...

Run Husky 94, it's by the far the best gas in Alberta. Mix in some ethanol and you're stylin'

Let me know where you can find it in Alberta. They've stopped making it this year. I agree it WAS the best gas available.

The JB4 for this model does not support Anti Lag.

Are these similar units to the group 7 on the 3.0t?

Sorry missed this. Yes, similar to Group 7 but with different firmware.
The Group 7 do not have the chip set that solved the no boost issues for the RS3 though.

Default Some guages stopped working on app - 04-24-2022, 06:04 AM

I have the jb4 with Bluetooth and an odd problem. Half the guages on the phone display stopped working. Eg, the revs don't register.

Is there a way to do a reset or should I delete and re add each of the guages that are not registering.

This is typically a issue with the OBD cable. Double check both ends are connected.

Thanks you were spot on. Had the car serviced and they pulled the obd plug and left it disconnected.

Hey all, how do I know if I have Rev2? I see the JB4 I just received has a ground wire sticking out of the unit, not sure if that was for the BCM install piece? I didn't order a BCM module with the unit so wasn't sure if I needed to follow the BCM module because otherwise I would have 2 un-used sets of plugs vs just 1 set.
