Default Not got a better 0-100km/h result after flash Xhp for F30 335ix - 03-06-2019, 05:24 AM

https://youtu.be/_GHryrg7wiM
I dont know why, not a better 0-100km/h time for me after flash the xhp.
MHD satge2 only ,0-100km/h 4.4s,2500rpm launch,iat = 70℉(launch control)

https://***********/u/40n116e/mhd-st...-7-13&mark=162

MHD stage2(MT or XHP)+ Xhp stage3 ,0-100km/h 4.7s,2500rpm launch,iat = 88℉(laucnh control)

https://***********/u/40n116e/mhd-st...3&zoom=373-497

MHD stage2( AUTO wtih fix for reduced power in 3RD/6TH)+ Xhp stage3 ,0-100km/h 4.5s,2800rpm launch, iat = 100℉(laucnh control) best 0-60km/h 2.08 but with highest iat so 60-100km/h is not better than before.

xhp stage3 + MHD stage 2 (3rd/6th) 4.6s
xhp stage0 + MHD stage 2 (3rd/6th) 4.3s
xhp stage1 + MHD stage 2 (3rd/6th) 4.3s
xhp stage1 + MHD stage 2 (MT or XHP) 4.6s
xhp stage2 + MHD stage 2 (8at) 4.7s
xhp stage2 + MHD stage 2 (3rd/6th) 4.5s

xhp stage2 /stage3 are slower on 0-60km/h and 60-100km/h
xhp stage1/ stage0 are faster on 0-60km/h and 60-100km/h(stock is 4.4s)
F30 335i xdrive only 3XX WHP,so there is no traction problem with it.all power on the road.

The data for the player who like the dragrace.

Try it with gear lever in S mode and Sport+ setting without using launch control. I get 3,98s on my M235i but i do have an os giken superlock diff aswell. For me launch control does not work properly for some reason, tires spin.

Ah yes ofcourse, for my rwd car and current setup the launch control is slower than using normal launch from 0rpm with gear lever in S and sport+. Anyway i think you should do better with an xdrive, at least below 4s. I tested it with cold weather around 10 celcius and did 3,98s (vbox), several attempts around 4s. The os giken does it’s part here also, aswell as my rear tyres 255 michelin pss. I don’t think that xhp tune will do much for 0-100 times on our 8hp cars to be honest. It is a combination of several things and balance. Not only gearbox tune.

pwg n55, the high rpm is bad
my n54 335i got 0-100km/h 3.4s 0-400(1/4mile) 11.3s
the xhp help me(6at N54) up 0.2-0.3s for 0-100 and 0-400
I dont konw why it slower for my f30 335ix.

Donít compare f30 335ix with n54 335i, completely different. The n55 8hp solution is just out, i think they might improve in the near future on 8hp. And what power did your n54 have compared to your current n55? Canít just compare this and expect same or better results. It depends on so many factors. xHP will soon offer custom options so you can precisely limit the torque for each gear. This might solve your ďhigh rpm badĒ. But this also depends on the surface, so itís always trial and error. Other stuff like sticky tires, lower tire pressure, or some bricks in the trunk 😉 will of course help aswell. :D

I wouldn't expect a trans flash to add much actual performance. They are mainly intended to improve the shifting and feel behind the wheel.

Honestly there are a ton of factors that could cause you to be slower now than before but unless you had a ton of data such as 100+ runs for before and after to gather an average, you really couldn't say if the new flash is the reason when you're talking about fractions of a second. I agree with Terry that it should be more for feel, response, and increased holding capacity.
