Terry,

On the average ignition are you still going with the quietest cylinder or taking an average from all six....what kind of changes have been made to the ignition logic?

It's taking the "loudest" or lowest cylinder currently. But only if raw timing values on 2-6 are enabled.

Yo Terry!

Idea with the oil gauge hijacking... Thoughts on having it switch to hijacking once oil temps reach a certain temp?

Really useful seeing its the only oil temp reading we can get.

Most 2008 and earlier cars are MSD80 and take the I8A0S BIN, while most 2009 and newer cars are MSD81 and take the IJE0S BIN. If your 2007-2008 models has an IJE0S software version though be sure to upload the IJE0S file. Loading the wrong file for the DME type will result in a "PAF Mismatch Error" after writing and you'll need to rewrite the correct file.

I've got that same clarification too. Does it mean CPS Column, 7000 Row?

The ISO 28 for timing values & knock corrections, this is for who running flash? Or also used for who on normal JB4 maps?

I mean do I need those if I'm not using backend flash? Sorry if my question seems silly but I'm trying to understand what it's used for

Option 4/1 will turn on stealth gauge mode and only hijacks the gauges when the gas pedal is past 50%. That's how I run.

Related to this, can someone explain what timing correction and raw timing values actually do? Which do I want to choose (timing correction or raw timing value) if I have the JB4 Iso 28 and BMS backend flash in my 2008 335i?

Thanks!

It's normally used for those running a back end flash who are doing custom tuning or want a more in depth look at the effect of changes they are making. For the average user who doesn't log I don't think it will be very useful.

What do you have your oil hijack?

I have it for meth flow, and once the engine is warm it would be good to have it constantly ready for meth flow indication.

It's in my sig. I think timing might be more important than meth flow, unless you're constantly having flow problems. If you have an FSB, your boost level should show whether or not your meth is flowing.

Now that I run JB4 Mobile on my Android, I can always take a look back at how my WOT was since autologging is turned on for me. BEST SETUP EVER, ha ha.

what happened to the drop down menu in the settings tab in which you would select the motor type and bms flash or not...?

I don't think they have separate selections for flash or no flash. Just choose based on engine type.

With the new interface there is no reset defaults?

How to reset to defaults now? I had that option on the older interface but it's gone with the new interface update

I'm not really understanding that one either. I have recently had everything in my User Adjustment tab go to all '0's while driving (likely from a JB4 Mobile for Android bug) and I had no way of getting the car to drive properly until I hooked up my laptop with the availability to restore defaults. This was not good for me because my entire Map 6 settings got wiped out, and my DWP was at zero, therefore not boosting at all. This has happened twice so far, but seems to be working fine on the latest JB4 Mobile release.

I need this feature back.

+1

Thankfully I haven't updated all of my devices so I have an older version to use for now.

Hello guys

I have a pretty special 335i n54 of 2007 with 2 turbos KKK K04, the same one of Audi S3, a lot of person told me that it is a great turbos, it can take more than 21 psi. My car has forged CP piston with 9.5.1 compression set. Wagner intercooler and **.
I'm now running with the map5 and map7 with 50% of e85 and my question is what is the best flash for me, the e85 or the one for bigger turbos?
Since I have big turbos and forged engine, what s the max pressure I can give with the map 6?

I have some engine fault in 5 and 6 gear after 5000rpm, even when I put my car on the dyno...The fault go away directly without cuting the engine. I think maybe it's because I need the e85 flash.

Thank you guys.
