Default JB4 Back End Flash Question regarding +2 psi - 09-01-2016, 10:47 AM

So I've had my JB4 G5 for a while, pretty familiar with it. I've recently added the basic bolt ons (vrsf CP, FMIC, ***) and decided to do the JB4 backend flash using MHD.

I successfully put the tune on, and set the 4/2 menu setting (I think.... When I go into menu 4, the option is pointing to 2, so I assume its set? These toggle menu options confuse me).

I'm running latest jb4 firmware (G5_ISO_32_5).

ON TO THE ISSUE:

I've read that the BEF will target 15psi on map 1 and 17psi on map 2. Since installing the other day, I have only seen 15psi in map 2 (reading my hijacked fuel gauge). I haven't done any logging to see what the jb4 is targetting cause my laptop battery is pooched. Replacing tomorrow and will log then but I'm still curious....

Is it true that in all cases, JB4 + BEF(pump) will target 15/17 psi in maps 1/2? I only have 91oct in the tank currently. I have access to 94 but no e. Map 5 was only giving me about 15 psi as well.

Is it possible it's an issue with my selection of the 4/2 setting for BEF?

Any insight is greatly appreciated, thanks!

It will target that. But a boost leak could prevent you from getting there.

Really need the logs.

you are correct. Map1 is 15. Without a log, not much help here. If only 91, you need to either use map 1 or 5. And above all else, we need to see a proper log.
Did I mention do a log?
Logs will help.
Log.

I believe 4/2 also changes boost scaling on your dash gauges... you really need to log
