It's a 10# spring. I have not opened one to check the color.

I've been shopping around for the best price on a Tial & charge pipe combo. Thanks to a heads up from Blaster400, this was ordered immediately!

I don't know on the E89. Probably doesn't fit that. Also I think some E60s have an issue.

I have no idea on that. The only valve I can guarantee fits is the Tial.

You might be right... per this TiAL is 50mm flange:
http://www.aliexpress.com/store/prod...610952284.html

And Turbosmart looks like it mounts nearly the same way in how it mounts:
http://www.turbosmartdirect.com/BigBubba_black_Top.jpg

Edit: confirmed in this post that it's direct fit: http://www.bmwgarage.com.au/index.ph...vs-turbosmart/

Since no one is posting pics/reviews...

I received my kit a few days ago. Very solid for the price! The blue lining in the coupler really hit my "this will never be seen but I LOVE IT" string.

It arrived with only the slightest of scuffs on the wrinkle black surface (which is fine since I added a few of my own during installation ).

I figured I would have more working room if I installed the charge pipe first and the Tial after... that was not fun trying to get the clamp on while keeping the valve and o-ring seated, but it worked.

Swapping the Chinese hardware for the 'Merica-ware, the lower meth bung plug went in without a hitch. The upper plug started getting a little too tight for comfort (felt like it was ready to start stripping threads) around 80% flush with the bung surface, so it sticks out a touch. This annoys my OCD, but it's not the end of the world. (Honestly, this pipe with no meth bungs would've been EXACTLY what I was looking for.)

I love the placement of the Tial, however, it ends up basically touching the power steering reservoir. One of the reasons I veered away from the ETS pipe was because I'd seen too many Tials that had been scraping strut towers due to engine movement. I'm thinking the Injen relocation bracket that comes with the intake kit might solve this for me.

Please excuse my filthy engine bay. I've got a piece of cardboard keeping the Tial unscathed for the time being. I also installed the M3 cowl at the same time.

My uncalibrated butt dyno says the throttle response is a touch better (I'm assuming my stock pipe and DVs were leaking) and with the cowl, spool is quite a bit louder.

Overall, I'm super pleased and my minor complaints will be fixed with more (much needed) wrench time. Thanks for offering this up, Terry!

Looks good. On the caps they should stick out a bit. Just turn until tight, don't overtighten as you could strip the aluminum threads.

On the ps res not sure why that is touching but you can loosen it's bolts and move it over a few mm I think.

Terry,

i plan on picking up one of these charge pipes with the tial combo shortly just a quick question regarding the charge pipe.

with how the meth bungs are placed what would you recommend for a dual nozzle setup for a FBO N54 running pump gas most of the time and E40 (E85 + 93) the rest.

I'm stuck between Dual CM7's or a CM5 + CM7
also live in a humind climate (NJ) with crappy gas

thanks!

Wish you offered this package deal when I bought my Phoenix CP a couple months ago. Good to see you are doing it as a complete package...I recall suggesting all of that.

If you got a Tial CP from us and need the valve we can take care of you. Just email me. Tial has a policy such that we can't advertise a price below a certain value which is why its packaged with the pipe.

What's the bung spacing like on these? The old Chinese CPs had bungs that were a little too close

Doesn't have anything to do with the transmission. It dumps excess pressure in the change pipe.

What I mean is since the auto transmission doesn't change the gears the same way a MT does, you wont hear the bOV as loud right ?
