By default the JB4 ships on map1. For higher boost map, logging, firmware updates, and other features, you'll need a JB4 Mobile adapter for wireless connection to your phone or a BMS data cable for wired connection to a laptop.

Map guide as of v3 firmware (selected via JB4 Mobile/laptop interface. Map1 is the default map)

Map 0: JB4 disabled
Map 1: 5psi over stock tapering to 2psi at redline.
Map 2: 5psi over stock tapering to 3psi at redline
Map 3: Unassigned
Map 4: Unassigned
Map 5: Unassigned
Map 6: Unassigned
Map 7: Unassigned
Map 8: VALET / Low Boost map


JB4_ALFA_3:

1) Adjusted IAT scaling, not sure if it's fully accurate yet but much closer.
2) Moved VALET map to map8, minor revisions to map1 and map2.
T1) Minor change to IAT scaling to try to get it more accurate.

JB4_ALFA_2:

1) Enabled CANbus engine allow the JB4 to now access the full suite of engine data including engine speed, ignition advance, air/fuel ratio, fuel trims, throttle & pedal position, engine temperatures, fuel pressure, and more. Requires OBDII cable to be attached to JB4. See install video below.

JB4_ALFA_1:

1) Fixed bug with false alarm fault code related to IAT/TMAP sensor.






How to update firmware:

For firmware updates if having issues we suggest you turn off WiFi, change upload timeout to 25, and set your phone next to JB4 box under the hood.

1/8 mile testing gained +3mph with just map 1, about 30whp gain.

Just purchased it on Monday and came in today! I'm new to JB4s so I apologize for my ignorance but is the best way to produce the most power out of this is with e85?

It's still a new product. For now I'd just install it, run map1, and mix in 2-3 gallons of E85. As we get more of them out there we'll provide higher power map suggestions.

Looking to get JB4 for my 2018 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Ti, any numbers yet? Also does this Giulia intake fit the Stevlio? When will it be available?

Stelvio and Giulia should be identical in Jb4 and Intake system. Jb4 is ready now, Intake system will be out in a month.

If you can upload a picture of your engine bay that would be the best. You can also check our install guide!

Not yet, unfortunately, my car is being fixed in a body shop for some minor damage but I will install it and attempt to make a custom map for it on map 6, with a ******** too that is currently being fabricated for me.

Here's a picture on my Stelvio engine bay, looks like intake from Giulia should fit from the video.

I have a question. I have already fitted an EC V2 intake system on my Giulia. Does this pose any issues with adding the JB4 tune with that already in place? Would I still get a 30whp power increase? Does the JB4 map 1 change the max RPM?

Not at all, the intake would only help you get more gains! Jb4 does not change max RPM.

We should have some dyno numbers soon actually. We have lots of positive feedback actually already. Traction is a huge issue for the RWD so we know it's making power

Still early days, couple reports of a startup throttle code we need to address. The more testers the better. Just engage us via email if any issues come up so we can work with you on the firmware.

Don't have any for the intake, at least not yet.

If anyone has time to test a JB4 firmware update email me, I have an idea that may get CANbus working.
