Map 6 is just the boost settings...all the other settings are for all maps, not just map 6.

I tried map 6 and changed a few settings, need to know what i need to change to get what i want.

Want more boost than map 2 and was having boost drop off when i shift so i lower auto shift boost redux from 60 to 40 and added to the fuel bias so i wouldn't go lean. I screenshot my settings and logs below first map is map 2 and the second is map 6

Fuel biases don't do anything for you. The AFR targets are determined by the ECU, you can't adjust them with the JB4.

For proper review and the JB4 to adapt, please do logs in 3rd or 4th gear from 2K rpms to redline at wide open throttle.

Interested in setting up map 6 as well. 2021 M550i. I'm keen to create a low boost map for daily use. I understand I can set the additive number by RPM, that bit is easy. Would I leave fuel and wastegate values as they are along with all the other variables too?

The user adjustment values are left the same as they affect all maps. The only map 6 specific settings are the boost settings. Fuel biases are not used on your platform, that's primarily for port injection which you do not have.

Tonight I got around to making a more conservative map on 6. Peak boost is +3 at 5500rpm now rather than +4. Low rpm boost ramped in more gently. Car is happy with it, logs show the ECU bringing lots more timing in as it leant the new parameters after a few WOT pulls.
