Timing looks real good. Meth flow looks good too. Unless someone like Will or Terry told you to put Scaling on 90, put it back to 60. Then up your additive to 60, then drop your min boost to 5.

Thanks! I apparently installed off of old instructions that said to put scaling at 90. I will adjust and log another run.

EDIT: This run was with the settings you mentioned, minus min boost. I used the updated insructions on my phone, just used parameters from the old instructions when making the post!

Default UPDATE: New Log - 04-03-2021, 08:20 AM

Updated Log from this morning. Min Boost Changed to 5psi. I'd like to add more, since my ign readings aren't exceeding 1.5 through the runs. Where should I start?

Default New Log - WMI - 60 Additive - 04-03-2021, 03:14 PM

Here is a log with a bump in additive.

Went from 50-60 additive. Correction in IGN_6 hit 3 and IGN_4 hits 1.5 almost every time I log, but all others 0.8 and below.

Boost in 1st hits about 17psi
Boost in 2nd hits about 19psi tapering to 17.7psi
Boost in 3rd hits 20psi tapering to 16.7psi

Letting off the throttle, boost hits 23.7 psi. Is this spike??? Boost2 is at 8.2psi at the same instant.
I have stock recirc valves that dump atmospherically.

Looks like Fuel Cut between 1st and 2nd at shift?

FuelEn hits 72 in third - is that 72% pump capability?

AFR seems to look fine after 1st gear. Is it supposed to be 14+:1 in 1st?
2nd - 3rd is 11.7:1 +/-.

WMI is hitting at about 9psi even though its set to kick at 5psi. 100% flow through the run once engaged.

IAT starts at 84 and drops to 75. could see lower temp with higher water content? is it worth losing some octane?

I really don't understand trims, FF, or Load yet, so if someone could explain, I'd appreciate it!

Looks pretty normal to me so far. With more longer runs you should see cyl 2-6 corrections learn down. Min boost is simply the earliest boost for meth flow to start. There is many other criteria applies to how much meth flows and when. Flow is also a lagging indicator that appears AFTER the pump pressurizes. It's done this way so we only increase boost target when meth is already flowing and not before.

PSI is read pre-throttle so when you let off the gas it spikes, and PSI2 dives.

For general logging questions refer to the Kia logging thread: JB4 Logging Parameters - N54Tech.com - International Turbo Racing Discussion

Thank you, Terry! I have read through the whole logging parameters thread, just don't fully understand the ones I mentioned. Does it look like I'm able to up the additive? Any other adjustments you might suggest?

Thanks again!

Since you have timing corrections additive is probably placed where it should be. I'd leave it as is for now and see how it does during longer WOT runs.

Yes sir. what would cause a correction for one or two cylinders? Plug gap, W/M not getting to a specific cylinder? maybe I'm jumping the gun.

What MPH/Gears should I run through?

93 + Octane boost and 80% meth should be more than enough to hold timing. Large deviations (Over 3.5) at that point would indicate poor gap. Terry always says "Don't tune your car for timing, you'll leave a lot of power on the table"

Thanks, Man! I ran 2 more logs on 60 additive with no more corrections over 1.5, pushing into 4th gear.

I logged 3 consecutive runs after the light corrections and was down to a max of 1.5.

In increments of 5 additive points beyond 60, I logged, checked and used the MAP6 Bot, and now I'm up to 75 and still sitting at 1.5 and below for the most part.

I did have 1 run today that started ign_6 at 2.29 from 1k rpm through 4.6k rpm but dropped to 0/0.8 for the rest.

My biggest concern is ign_4, which on a separate run today hit 3.8 from 4.3k rpm through 5k, dropped to 3 through the rest of 3rd, and rode 2.29 through 4th.

I feel like ign_4 is my "problem child". It's almost always at 1.5 on my logs, even when the others are flat 0's.

I'm attaching the 3 logs from today.

What do you think, @Terry @ BMS (not sure if this tagged you, not well versed in tagging on the forum)

There's always going to be some deviations in timing, yours are perfectly acceptable. I looked at your last log ending in 710 and it looks strong at 75% additive. My only recommendation is to hold 3-4, 4-5 shifts a bit longer, closer to 5800-5900. Next you need EWG cables and we can get you really fast

So, I have EWG Wires installed. Is there something I'm missing? Should I be getting a different reading with EWG wires?

Thanks!
