Default JB4 Help for F chassis ewg - 11-27-2018, 08:11 AM

I have a f chassis with ewg and Bluetooth adapter and it keeps failing to upload update from the ios app and now my jb4 says no firmware detected , keeps failing, what do you think it could be. I ended up unplugging it from the motor because of delayed start and engine malfunction.

Can the JB4 be updated with it just being plugged into the ob2 port?

any and all help appreciated

Is ignition fully on? If you have a weak phone signal holding phone close to blue tooth adapter can also help.

The TMAP sensor connection is required to power the JB4.

Means you still have a bad connection, maybe check blue tooth adapter on JB4 to ensure that's solid. If all else fails order another 2580 chip from our site for $25, those come with firmware pre-loaded.
