Looks like you have fewer timing corrections under meth flow at 20psi than you do without at 14psi.
If you're trying to tune for no timing corrections you'll be leaving power on the table but just lower the WMI additive as needed.

Going into first winter with Meth.
Anything I should be aware of any additional risks?
I assume you lose much of the IAT benefit but retain knock reduction due to added octane?
Meth is more than just an IAT reducer right? It is added fuel for added boost?
Thanks

Run at least a 50/50 mix to avoid freezing other than that works basically the same. Turbos still generate plenty of heat in the winter.

I have a WMI question, On multiple 1/4 mile runs testing map 7 @ 75 additive 50/50 mix (just boost Juice for now) The car consistently trapped 109 MPH speeds over and over again on multiple test days at the track at various temps ranging from 88 to 53 outside. That's nice from a consistency stand point but, what's stumping me is running map 3 when the car is cooled off will trap 110 mph + on the same day with the 91 + E85 E30 mix.
What gives ? I really like the cooling WMI provides I can see the IAT drops in the logs but why is it coming up short on power compared to non meth maps ?
Im sure I ironed out WMI flow issues/ bubbles in the line etc.
Do I have to go onto higher mixes of Meth to water ?
Dial down additive or set meth trigger 1 and use on map 3 for example ?

I also am seeing similar things, what are the mods you are currently running, highest I've trapped is 112?

Can't do anything with this log. Need the original JB4 CSV to open in the JB4 software.

Just the brake snip, JB4 With WMI- fuel wires & AEM panel filters.
The car can trap solid 112s on map 3 on a nice cold day on the draggy and on WMI map 7 in the same conditions after that run its 109.XX everytime.
CSV files fixed attached wrong files before.

Looks like high elevation? That explains why traps speeds are down overall from what we'd expect.
What fluid are you injecting? Trims are not dropping under WMI flow as I'd expect. Since timing is solid on map3 already, and IAT looks good, there would be minimal benefit for WMI for you in this situation.

Mine are all high altitude 5,800 ft above sea level and about 7,700 DA. WMI fluid is just straight boost juice.
" Trims are not dropping under WMI flow as I'd expect". Since timing is solid on map3 already, and IAT looks good, there would be minimal benefit for WMI for you in this situation".
Would the trims indicate another problem is present ?
The WMI is of more benefit to me during the summer months when sitting in line at the track heat soaks the car, or during stupid hot days and a little more consistency is needed. Im just surprised that no mater if it was hot or cold outside, heat soaked or first run: testing wmi map 7 always produced a 109.xx trap speeds.
For Fall / winter ill stick to map 3 for higher for power with high oct fuels.

Two WMI questions -
10-21-2020, 05:08 PM
1. Does anybody know of a safe dye or color you can add to your meth mix so you can see it flow through your tube?
2. I had to disassemble a NEW nozzle and carrier to clean out some machining flakes. I noticed if I screw the nozzle all the way down into the carrier it restricts the flow considerably compared to backing if off a 1/2 turn or so. Is there a set distance that they come with backed off? (I didn't notice when I unscrewed it)

To me it doesn't look that good. ECU PSI should of been a bit higher. Your average boost was around 16ish which is equivalent to Map 2. There were some high variances in timing also which is why I suspect it kept it low. Even running Meth you have to have a good gas, was it 91? I also noticed a throttle close on two occasions at high RPM, no bueno. I noted you had the default settings done on the Meth page which is a good base, but you should be 19+ in boost PSI.
You can try a few things first. Update your firmware, you are running 17, it's very old, try 22. Run E-30 or 93 if you aren't already, I assume you swapped plugs????

Thanks for the quick answer !! I forgot to mention I have a windbooster pedal controler and Denso IKH24 gapped to 0.022".
I will update the firmware. I am currently running shell 91 wich doesn’t contains ethanol and is said to be the best gas we have here. I have access to 94 but many tuner here do not rcommend 94 octane du to variability in actual octane number... I could try it anyway. How is E30 is achievable ? I don’t have acces to E85 here in canada...

If you don't have E85 its going to be tough. The ratio is easy, 10 gallons of gas to 4 gallons of E85. Sometimes I use just 3 gallons for an E27 mix. E85 contains 105 oct average. Another thing that might help is mix a 70/30 meth instead of 50/50. Its possible that could smooth thing out a bit.

HI !! So I updated the firmware and did a few pull. From what I can see, it did not change anything.
For an unkown reason, meth stopped flowing after a couple pulls. I checked ground, power, fuse and all is fine. I seem to have air at the nozzle thought. Can this be source of the problem ? Will have to try to purge when I get back home.
EDIT: Tried to purge and did not work. Will have to investigate a little further... I don't think the wiring is the problem.

Why didn't it purge? Did the solenoid not turn on? Did it turn on but no flow? Also, are you leaving the nozzle in the holder and purging just the line? Also, as dumb as it may sound, check the fluid level. I kid you not I worked with a guy back and forth last month and the problem was he didn't have any fluid left, LOL

Solenoid did not click, no flow. Nozzle unpluged Fluid level at max. Like I said I will have to dig in more. I have seen many having trouble with the FSB.
I compared todays log before it worked and after it did not work. E85_Setup is at 255 and VFF_Offset is at 150 on the log it stopped flowing altought I did not touch these parameter...
It worries me also to see that boost went to 19psi without any meth... Something is not right.

Bad grounds often are the issue, or guys will go to the meth page and hit purge but the car wont be in Map7 and it wont flow.

I looked at the install manual again and I can see one mistake i could have done : the solenoid is before the pump. Can that cause an issue ?

No.... Tank/pump in trunk, solenoid under hood usually near the JB and FSB, then a short run to the nozzle. Make sure your your solenoid is orientated the right way by means of the arrow, but I think I remember seeing full flow on your last log. I'm not sure what you mean by "before the pump" can you take a few pic's and post?

I checked all my wires, moved some stuff around, opened the fsb to found the LED is red( tought it would be green). After that it purges like before. I found that the power wire might have been loose in the fuse box so I made sure it would not move again. Will do another log this morning. When I am purging I have a pulsing flow more than a constant one with the hose unplugged from the nozzle. Is that normal?
I made my install outside of the car. I didnt want to have a hose running the lenght of the car, loosing my spare and having a tank of alcool 2 feet away from my daughter knowing it would evaporate during hot day and everything. So I used the windshield washer reservoir as my tank. I have the convenience of knowing when I am low on fluid too! Installation is not complete on pictures...
EDIT: So it is purging but t doesn't flow when I do pulls. Is the red LED the indicator it doesn't work ?

First, a pulsating purge is normal, one push of the button on the app and it will spit out several pumps. The only thing I can think of off hand is your boost thresholds is too high? If it purges then it's drawing fluid, pump is working, and solenoid is kicking on. It's got to either be too high of a threshold or something wrong with the FSB and that would be a tech support issue directly with BMS.
