Default Splined Crank Hub - 10-16-2020, 01:28 PM

I installed the Vargas splined hub on my N54, but have not been able to rotate the bolt 360 degrees after initial torque.

Im using a 4ft 3/4 drive breaker bar with a jack handle making it about 5ft, and I have the crank hub tool bolted on with a pole over that making it 5ft as well. Put about 200 degrees of rotation and cannot get it to move anymore with two 200 pound guys giving it some serious beef. The engine is in car by the way.

Anyone else have any problems getting their crank bolts torqued on when using this much leverage? Maybe I just try another new bolt?

Nvm, using a jack to support the tool did the trick.
