Default Help Lpfp upgraded and still 47-68 psi. - 10-11-2020, 03:59 PM

I upgraded my low-pressure fuel pump to a walbro 450 high pressure. I left the Venturi intact. I am still getting low fuel pressure that sits around 60 PSI and drops as low as 47 PSI under load. The pump is at 12.3 volts pretty much all the time whether at idle or under load and the the current is between 17.8 and 18.3 amps whether it is at idle or under load. I am guessing that the pressure regulator is bad since the pump is at full output all the time. So do you think I should replace the pressure regulator? I tried running straight E85 or a 50/50 mix of 91 and E85 and the pressures don't really change.
Edit. Pressures were also low before I replaced the low pressure fuel pump. That is the reason I replaced it but it didn't seem to help.
