Default EWG on N63TU3 (G14/G15) M850 - 06-07-2020, 09:55 AM

Hey friends,

This is an inquiry to anyone who's attempted to install JB4 with EWG connectors on an M850. I was chatting with Terry at the beginning of the weekend as I started the install on mine and I noticed that the EWG connectors that came with the G30 harness plugged into the stock EWGs however, the clip/latch that holds them in was on the wrong side.

Also, I wasn't able to successfully run the car with the EWG connectors installed and I had to revert to EWG loopback on the JB4 (not plugging into the car's EWG, and leaving car EWGs plugged in as stock). Car was throwing short-circuit messages when JB4 was plugged into EWG. This led us to believe that we might need to go to 180 degree EWG plugs, but Terry wanted to make sure this wasn't just a one-off on my vehicle.

TL;DR: Have you attempted to connect your JB4 to your M850 EWGs? And were you successful?
