Default Michelin PSS vs. Federal 595RS-R?? - 05-25-2020, 06:01 AM

I bought a new set of Michelin PSS last year because my 135i was my only car. I thought I'd need to drive it in the rain throughout the year. I had a dedicated set of snow tires at the time.

Over winter I bought another car (2005 325xiT), so now the 135i only comes out when it's nice. See my mods below, the car doesn't hook very well on my worn 265/35 Michelin AS/3s.

I still haven't installed the Michelin PSS tires and https://100001.onl/ https://1921681254.mx/ https://happymod.site/ am now wondering if I should go with more of a track-oriented tire. Is the PSS really that good? I do a lot of drag racing, but plan to autocross this year as well.

I could sell the PSS and buy some Federal 595RS-Rs instead. I will save money actually. Would the Federals hook better? I don't plan on driving in the rain or anything this year. I want all the traction I can get.
