CES ran the 8374 on the N54 Steedspeed manifold and the car made 18 psi with the iwg locked fully open. They even tried porting the iwg and could only get it down to 16psi. I'm hoping this isn't an issue for us N55 guys as I'm also very interested in this turbo kit but the only data log I've seen looked to have boost creep.

Hmmmmm I see. Was that mani similar in design to the speedtech mani? Hopefully this ewg setup wont experience that. I would perhaps be more concerned of the probability of it happening to a PWG style wastegate. I know on the EVo side of the forums there are lots of guys running tubular manis with the EFR7670's at 25psi plus and I have not heard any reports of boost creep with. lol Then again this is a six some I'm sort of assuming the same possibilites.

Yeah similar enough manifold although the steedspeed is CNC. Whether it's an electronic or pneumatic actuator is irrelevant, they're both opening the same exact wastegate. Evo guys have boost creep issues with the IWG as well, do a google search and you'll find threads on it.

Like I said though, hopefully it's not an issue for the N55 but we will find out soon.

OP, sorry for the slight thread diversion, good luck and I look forward to results.

With speedtech kit there is no way to have boost creep because you keep using oem parts to control boost.

Control of the wastegate isn't the issue. The fact that the internal wastgate of the efr turbos can't physically flow enough exhaust gas is. As I stated earlier CES locked the 8374 wastegate fully open with a piece of wire and made 18 psi. That was on a N54 and a steedspeed manifold though so who knows what the N55 and this manifold will do hopefully you can let us know soon.

I don’t see how creep could be a issue with such a big wastegate but it could be improper actuator position or the need for a new lower pressure actuator

Maybe Jeff need to consider building such manifolds (one piece including turbine house) for factory BW turbo? It can open up a much bigger market.

Manifold is expensive and then need to weld oem turbine house for extra 40hp.. I think is better deal to buy PS1 or PS2

That's what I was kind of saying but hopefully you will see and let us know when you test drive her.

Today we made first start up .... in a few days my plan is going to same dyno with same fuel system ( oem bmw ) + meth injection (7+7) and see diference in spool up, tq and hp ... ( PS2 vs ST3 )
