I would advise you to sell the AEM and use a Walbro 450.
I had an AEM 320 and was recommended by many to swap it to a Walbro 450. If you have an AEM pump and can't return it/don't want to buy a Walbro, the install for the AEM is the same as the Walbro.
There is a DIY on the forums somewhere, I recommend NOT to follow it. Do not put a soldering iron anywhere near your car when your fuel tank is open. Also don't try to remove the pump unless you have less than 1/4 (preferably less) tank full.
I did my own e60 walbro lpfp mod.
Make sure to use 3/8" PTFE tubing, this is what I used:

You will need 2 of them, connect them with a 3/8" brass male to male hose/barb.
There is quite a lot of little things that will need to be done to ensure reliable operation.

You will also need to modify the small black bucket that seats in the large white bucket. IF you don't feel like doing all this work/not confident in your ability, you can send me the LPFP assembly and your AEM or a Walbro if you want that. Ill bill you for the cost of supplies/time(we can talk about this)
