Default M240i JB4, VRSF empty DP, BMS CAI Logs - 05-20-2020, 08:44 PM

Hello All,

Just updated JB4 firmware to V16 and did some data logging. Looking to fine tune for the best results with current setup running Mobile 93 Octane.

Seems to be dropping boost pretty hard im not sure why.

Sorry missed the thread. Set boost by gear values all to 0, you're lowering boost by 15psi with your settings.

Target values are zero, ECU PSI from JB4 is over DME_BT, so throttle is closing, WG Duty is zero across the board. Have you compared settings from a log previous to v16 upgrade? I've had some very odd things happen with upgrades. I've seen user settings clear afterward. I've also seen settings clear after saving certain settings from JB4 app (e.g changing options, FUA, PID, etc).

You should email into support for sure.

Those settings only apply if he has an EWG connector installed which he didn't mention in his post. The problem at hand is the boost by gear reduction settings being set way too high.

I had no idea that the 'limiters' were actually reducers... good to know.

Yes we're updating app to make that more clear for the newer models!
