Super easy install, won't take more than 30 minutes for your first time. After that should be 10 mins!

I have a JB4 on my M5, if I order one for the Jeep, can I transfer the bluetooth module from the M5? Basically is it the same bluetooth module for all JB4's?

JB4 Issue -
04-20-2020, 06:53 PM
Hello,
I installed the jb4 a few days ago. Since then I've had problems with map 1 through map 3. I have attached all of the results including map 0
The JB4 is the only modification that is on my 2020 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 2.0L.
Any ideas on what could possibly be causing what feels like a cut out while acceleration from 0-60?
Thanks,
Cody McNeal

If map1 isn't working no need to go up to map2 or map3.
Let's try this next. Set map6 values to 2.0 across the board, and log map6 for comparison.

We have a few customers running E30 without issue but it's still being tested. If you have access pump a few gallons in and evaluate. It should benefit each JB4 map.

I’m having a stutter/hesitation when I first roll into the throttle. Especially when the Jeep doesn’t downshift (high load and boost, lower rpm). I have a ******* ********, 3” catback and intake. Running 91 octane with a bit of e85 (roughly 20-25% ethanol). Not sure if these logs show the issue. If not, let me know what to log. It seems the actual boost overshoots target boost on initial throttle tip in and turbo spool. And then you feel like timing is being pulled.

Couple questions. I just ordered.
I got the Bluetooth feature. We now have to download the app for $28?
Second question. Map1 is for 91 octane and map 2 for 93 and map 4 is for e85 mix?
I want it to be a safe tune with no worries. Can someone help educate me on this?
Thanks in advance.

Yes you need to pay for the app
Map 1 is always the 91 octane map. I don’t know about the other maps.
There is a lot of safeties built in to protect your motor.

Yes the smart phone integration is $169 for the adapter and app.
What fuel are you planning on using?

Thanks Terry. I will be running 93 exclusively.
Any guidance would be appreciated.
I run this on my Q50 and this forum should be much busier than it is!
Great product and I will be a proponent for sure.

Yes the app is for logging, map changes, setting changes, firmware updates, etc!
For 93 octane map2 is likely the best fit but a log will confirm.
