Default Not boosting to target??? - 09-01-2020, 10:12 AM

Ok so I started getting a little bit of boost. I went back and checked on the settings and it seemed a few were off so I fixed them for hybrid turbos. I did a quick run to see if anything has been fixed.

What I am seeing here is the engine is not reaching the target boost level it is matching the ECU PSI though?

Any ideas why this might be happening?

Is your tach set to 4/2?

Which map was this supposed to be in?

So installed a new G5 board today and no change. In fact I am pretty sure after looking at it that the old board was also a G5. Tried it with both firmware versions 14 and 15. Still no change.

This car went from overboosting a while back to no more than 5lbs.

Also the 2 step still does not work. I even double checked the white wire pin location and it is correct.

New log attached.

Ok so I was doing a lot of reading and sure enough it was a big boost leak.

Unfortunately the 2 Step still does not work though.

So as fast as I fixed it I broke it. It peaked at 17.2psi on map 2. I went out and did 2 tests runs from a dig (drag race) on the second run it bogged hard since no 2 step so no boost. and it shredded the belt. I found out at the end of the run and parked it. Hoping the front seal is intact.

Since the JB4 was not the issue is it possible to return it?

I am going to have other expenses
