Default High battery drain after update - 06-25-2019, 09:52 AM

Tried to post this in the support section but did not get any response at all so I'm going to try here.

I updated the firmware on my jb4 and right after that I started getting high battery drain warnings every time I start the car after it sits several hours. The car starts fine and the battery is not going dead, also the battery is not very old. I did not have this problem until I updated the firmware on the jb4. I did not have any issues with the update and everything seems to be functioning fine, just the annoying warning every time I start the car. Any help with this will be greatly appreciated.

Don't see how it would be related but easy to roll back to previous firmware to confirm.

Did you replaced your battery with the same as before? Did you registered your battery after replacing it?

Is there anything plugged into the OBD port, or anything else installed recently that would draw?

Cool I am having a similar issue... - 06-03-2020, 04:09 PM

Hello,

I also upgraded from a previous version to G5_ISO_32_14 and am having battery drain issues. Where can I find G5_ISO_32_12, I don't see it in the new database?

Thanks!
-Mike

I had the same problem. Did all the normal troubleshooting. The voltage of the battery was actually going down overnight, IIRC it was about 0.75V over 12ish hours (numbers are written down somewhere)

Battery was 5 years old, so replaced anyways. Problem persisted.

Rolled back FW to 32_12. Problem went away. If I get fiesty I may try 15 and see how its goes.

Reporting as well. Flashed the newest firmware and have battery drain issue. I'll roll back to 12 and see if it continues. Hopefully not.

I too can only see 32-14 and 32-15 in the useable database. I can read all about 32-12 in the link but can't download it.
Can someone please show us where an actual 32-12 is at? Uploaded latest 14 and having battery issues the same as above. Started on the first start up of the car after new firmware loaded.
Thanks

Why can't we find the 12? I have sent a ticket to burger with absolutely no response. This is frustrating.

Also getting dead batteries after about a week of sitting (garage queen).

I installed sub/amp and thought it was that, though the amp appears to be shutting off after car enters sleep mode.

Also have port injection w/controller & fuelit bucketless pump.

Using 15 beta

Now that I'm seeing this post I'm wondering if it's related.

I found 32_12_T10 on my phone that I may flash back to as I'm having the same issue. I can also send this to anyone who wants it.
