With the JB4 you can push the tuning as aggressively as you want! We've seen some crazy numbers reported running E85 mixtures for example.

Just installed today, thanks for the great product.

On the G82 you can drill out the firewall rubber indent for the OBD cable. Looks slightly different from the instructions but in the same general vicinity.

It's been pretty stable so we may remove the BETA designation within the next few weeks. Like to get a few hundred units out around the world before we do generally.

So, 2 quick questions.

1st -
In the map guide, you list some maps like map2 as "4psi peak request over stock".

Since Base 6Mt G80s and the M3C request different amounts of boost at stock, does this map behave differently between the base and competition? Or is it normalized across all versions of the G80/82 (since they are the exact same engine)?

2nd -
I'm seriously happy you list the recommended fuel types for each map, but do you have expected gains for each? The dyno images on the product page are great and all, but they don't indicate which platform or map or fuel in the notes.

I think a lot of 6MT buyers (like myself) are going to look at correcting BMWs absurd downtuning of the base with a piggyback system, so it would be great to better set the expectations for those of us dumb enough to have bought the 3-pedal version of this magnificent car.

Thanks!

Additive maps are added on to the factory target while absolute maps run a fixed target. Generally speaking there is no power difference between comp and non-comp vehicles when JB4 tuned. The only difference is what map is required to get to the desired power output.

If you have specific questions on what map to run we'd need to see a JB4 log from your specific car/fuel/situation.

The posted dynos have their details listed...

The G8X flex fuel kit and install location...

Closeup of install location...

Here's the complete installation guide...

Remove the strut brace with a 15mm socket or wrench and then remove the engine cover.

Remove the gray safety clip on each end of the stock fuel line...

To remove the stock fuel line, let the car sit overnight so there is no fuel pressure. Then push the line on as much as possible, depress the black clip, and then pull the line off.

Install the fuel lines, analyzer, and harness on to the ethanol sensor as shown. Connect the ends with the 3/8" fuel fittings to the ethanol sensor as shown.

Here's a video showing how to connect the fittings.

How to install our Cam-Lock! style fitting. - YouTube

Install the new fuel lines with the sensor and analyzer installed...

Connect the analyzer to ground...

Connect the white wire to the JB4 pin 4 of the DB25 connector...

Connect the power wire...
