Default Installed JB4 yesterday - 04-05-2015, 05:18 AM

Been hanging out at E90Post and have been on fence about installing a Tune and this is fantastic.

2011 N55 E90, no issues whatsoever with install.

It occurred to me that modding up my car and then driving it is like taking drugs, no ****. Want more!

Installation was easy, very easy and went off without a hitch and I didn't even break anything.

I run 93 Octane and have CP, FMIC, Injen Intake and my ******* DP is well, it's still on my back seat because I still need to find someone to install it.
I only ran Map 1 yesterday so I am wondering if I can run Map 2 and what about Map 5? Says "Autotuning" but pretty sure I have read that Map 5 'learns' your set up and configuration and adjusts to your car? Maybe that is what "autotuning' means.

I've got the cable, I guess I should pull some data logs to either bench mark where I am or look for any anomalies.

Now I am setting my sights on the Pure Stage Turbo next. We'll see about that.

This just goes to show you're never too old to play with toys!!!!

Mustang GT's are a dime a dozen around here and just asking for a beat down but sanity always prevails.

Grab some logs in map 1. Post them in the support section to make sure everything looks good. Then progressively jump to the next map based upon your mods, and continue to log and post in support section. Always good to be safe and have someone double check how things are running.

--Get your DP installed and maybe pick up some flex fuel wires so you can run an e85 mix (up to 40% on your E series). The higher octane will allow you to run more boost.

Congrats on your JB4! I've had mine for 6 months and love it. My setup likes map 5 but I'm FBO and often run E30. Install you DP and compare your logs in both maps 2 & 5 after you post your map 1 logs for review like CJ2 said.

That's falso info. Map 5 is a auto tuning map and can run much higher boost compared to map 2 if you have enough octane and properly teach it in. 3-5 3rd gear pull starting at 2k rpm's will net much higher boost than map 2 if you have enough fuel/octane.

This is correct. I've seen 19psi on map 5. If it's targeting less than map 2 it's for a reason.
