What I've noticed is that I get it WAY more often when the weather is humid out. When the air is dry, boost response is spot on and I rarely experience the no boost condition.

After re-wrapping (5layer) the bcm, extended the wiring into the cabin (below the passenger seat RHD) I canít trigger the no boost issue even when Iím on manual mode. For me is totally gone! Good luck to u guys.

seems a bit extreme but if this works then it proves that better signal filtering or shielding is needed.

We don't expect anyone to do any of this. If you feel like being a hobbyist and experimenting go for it but its most likely these bags and relocation things will wind up being unnecessary. If we do find EMF is the cause then we'll need to solve it in the JB4 enclosure and with some additional board filtering.

Andy is a vendor and experimenting with different things on his own to collect data on the issue and sharing what he finds in real time.

Once we nail down what the issue is BMS will provide a solution free of charge to our customers. It's strange as some customers never have the issue while others have it frequently. We rarely have it on our development cars. Which to date has made it tricky to nail down a common cause.

I hope everything gets cleared up soon. I was hoping to not flash my ecu, but ended up going Stage 1 Unitronic on this particular platform with hopes of maybe stacking with a JB4 one day.

Terry, have you used E85 on your TTRS APR/JB4 setup, and if so how much Ethanol? Was wondering if I could maybe do the same one day.

Yes but it requires our AFR control wire to adjust the AFR as APR has it set too rich. But with that you can use any mix you want. I've been running straight at around 24psi.

Is the AFR control wire built into the JB4 unit, and when you say running straight, do you mean full E85?

You do realize how difficult this is to troubleshoot, right? BMS even went as far as redesigning the board and asking their supplier(s) to remake additional boards to test. This is NOT cheap or quick.

This is a BETA product and users are here to help provide feedback. It's not required, but you knowingly purchased it as being a BETA tester.

It's build in to the latest rev2.2 board. Then there is an extra wire you plug in to the harness and posi-tap to the primary o2 sensor signal wire. This allows the JB4 to directly change the air/fuel ratio.

I've been using straight E85, but various mixtures can be used as well. I'm also equipped with a Fuel-IT flex fuel sensor kit so the JB4 is able to read the E85 mixture and scale the tuning as a function of it.

So this is effectively a flex fuel set up? So the jb4 already has an input for the fuel sensor?

Thanks Terry, looking forward to seeing more results of how this system works with various E85 mixtures. How much time did it take to install the Fuel-IT system?

So will the stock tune + JB4 w/ fuel wire allow for straight E85? BEF needed?

No, the o2 biasing is only useful for those who are also flashed. The flash tuners have a nasty habit of setting AFR so rich it bombs out the fuel pump with high boost and E85 mixtures.

You are in the same situation as me,I just keep hoping that JB4 can be perfected as soon as possible
