Not full steering wheel controls. You can only change between map 0 and which ever map you have selected from your laptop.

Terry quick question. I don't have DP's yet and being this ewg isn't ready for the public. From what I'm understanding boost is limited for us. Would it hurt to run in map 2 without DP's for now?

People have tried it, but the first post 'suggests' map2 is for those with exhaust mods.

I have a stock m135i running map 2 no issues have been for weeks - do a log and send to Terry or Jon they will advise if there is any issues. Just go easy until you have confirmation the log data is good.

Would Octane Booster or a mix of race gas get the same effect as E85? I'm guessing that is being used because in some places its more common, cheaper, and provides a similar result?

Can't wait for EWG control and Map 5 to be working...

Quick report on EWG control. Hitting 15psi on map 2 with 93 octane. So far car "feels" like it pulls as hard if not harder then my E92 N55. Will be getting logs in this week, damn NYC traffic.

Didn't Terry state that it wasn't safe to run E85 with the EWG until it gets worked out? It runs too lean currently.

We have various testers testing various things to collect a wider range of data.

I have been running Map 5 for the last year in my F10 N55 . While sometimes i get ramdon detonations (perhaps running to lean), it is the only map the car felt very strong at any gear... I just updated the latest hex file 8-8...and map 5 is much smoother than before...( I know it is still uner development) but feels good (not as strong as before) , may need to do some logs....

Now because of business travel i missed downloading the Beta map 5. Does any one have the hex file of the modified Map 5 beta so I can tested too and send some logs ?
