Im in the middle of trying to fit my JB4.

The instructions refer to drivers side and passengers side, but are for a left hand drive car. I know all the UK owners have their jb4 boxes on the drivers side as I saw plenty at a drag event last week. But this means the rainbow connector won't reach the far side (drivers side usa)

Does this mean that I can fit everything the opposite of the USA cars, so swap the tmaps side for side, and also the boost solenoids if that makes sense?

Did someone get you an answer to this.
I purchased a used kit from Sweden and the cables seemed too short for the left hand drive m5. Was I supposed to switch the tmap connectors?

It doesn't matter what side you put the JB4 on as long as you can make all the connections.
