Map Guide as of V2 Firmware:
Map 0: Stock operation, JB4 disabled
Map 1: Default performance map, 4psi peak over stock, taper to redline
Map 2: 5psi peak over stock, taper to redline
Map 3: 6psi peak over stock, less taper to redline, suggested for E85 mixture or octane booster
Map 4: 6.5psi peak boost request over stock, less taper to redline, requires unleaded racing fuel or E85 mixture
Map 5: 7psi peak request over stock, less taper to redline, requires unleaded racing fuel or E85 mixture
Map 6: Custom additive boost profile, boost request over stock
Map 7: Progressive WMI (water/meth) mapping based on boost additive setting and WMI flow
Map 8: Low boost VALET / Safety map

We suggest all vehicles email in or post a log on map1 so we can confirm all is well BEFORE attempting to run higher power maps.

User Adjustments

While there are several user adjustable parameters, for now we only want customers to adjust the boost by gear settings. These are critical to improving traction off the line and something no other C63 tuning system offers, so take advantage of them! Enter the amount of boost to reduce per gear. For example, entering 3psi in 1st will reduce 1st gear by 3psi regardless of the performance map selected. We suggest values of 4psi in 1st gear, and 2psi in 2nd gear, to start. Most vehicles will not need to limit boost in 3rd gear.


Optional BCM (Boost Control Module)

The JB4 attaches to the manifold TMAP, chargepipe MAP, and fuel pressure connections on each side of the engine, for six total connection points plus OBDII for CANbus. These fundamental attachments provide the JB4 with a wide range of tuning adjustment. For vehicles targeting very high boost levels using heavy bolt modifications, WMI, larger turbos, and/or very high octane, additional wastegate dutycycle may be beneficial in driving boost up to the higher target. To increase wastegate dutycycle the BCM add on harness is required. Although not currently available it will be $199 and plugs in to the JB4 harness and the boost control solenoid under the vehicle for direct wastegate control.

For firmware updates if having issues we suggest you turn off WiFi, change upload timeout to 25, and set your phone next to JB4 box under the hood.

Headed back to the dyno today for additional intake testing, and also some new JB4 mapping we're playing with to best take advantage of a race gas mixture. Put down lots of 570whp runs with a best of 577whp.

I have EU C63 and I can easily reach 257kmh on speed daily when going to work

Don't worry we've got a batch of 250 under production. The first go around is always a little slower. May be a few weeks. But we'll post as soon as we have them.

In the mean time we'll be durability testing the JB4 tuning and intake as Shift Sector next weekend, and NoFlyZone a couple weeks after.

We got lots of good data at the Shift Sector event. We'll be integrating what we learned into some changes to the prototype mapping. Hit the speed limiter on all the JB4 runs. Map 0 which disables the JB4 ran 11.5mph less at 144.4!

All runs on a mix of about 80% race gas with the BMS intake prototype installed.

Hey guys,

Was great boost weather tonight (55F) so decided to head over to the private track for a few pulls.

Testing was done in our 2018 C63 base model, JB4, BMS intake, 30% E85 fuel. JB4 tuning was set to map5 (+7psi over stock peak), launch mode active, and to improve traction I used the JB4's boost by gear option to reduce boost by 4psi in 1st.

Overall happy with the best run of 11.5@127mph. If we could get that 60' down in the 1.7s range where it should be, look out!

This is AWESOME~!

I just offloaded my 340i and stepped up into a C63s. Having been with you guys for ages in my bimmer, i thought switching brands would mean loosing out to another tuner.

Have been reading up about tuning options for the w205 C63S and for piggyback variants, there's not a huge number of them out there. The one thing they keep mentioning is a "difficult installation" or "leave 3-5hrs aside to install" - @Terry, @Jon, @Payam, how does this install compare (effort/diffuclty-wise) to the B58 install?

If/When you guys release this (happy to help test too - I was on your first beta batches for the B58 too) ... so much joy right now :D :D :D Can you let me know indicative price too?
