Terry, what limits XM with M5 sized turbos on JB4 from having more boost?

Guys, I can not find BCM installation instructions. The link in this thread leads to the notice that BCM for N63 is no longer supported. But we have S63. Help, please.

...3) The DME specific fuel and BCM wires attach to the DME just like the N63 system referenced here: http://www.n54tech.com/forums/showpo...92&postcount=3

BCM is no longer supported for the S63. Just run the TMAP and CANbus wires only.

I’m trying to remove my JB4 since the new buyer does not want it. I need to uninstall the BCM but the Installation instructions (which I could’ve used to reverse the installation) have been removed. Anybody happen to know what wires go where?

And I understand not supporting certain features on the JB4 for the S63 but why remove completely the installation instructions vs just putting up a disclaimer so that those of us who purchased one years ago can see how to take it off?

I followed N63 instructions that basically had asterisks for the differences between the N54, N63 and S63.

Just undo the DME wires one at a time so they are not mixed up. Might still be an old install video on youtube we never deleted it.

Thanks to both of you guys for the quick responses. I’m sure I’ll get it figured out one way or another.

Question 11-09-2019, 09:12 AM

Seek help

My car is the 2010 X5M s63b44a.

I just bought a BMS stage1 for the s63 harness a model with Bluetooth kit.

The Bluetooth kit is connected to one of the two red wires and can be connected to the mobile phone normally.

When upgrading firmware, I failed every time I reached 239 / 432. I've tried it hundreds of times.

At present, the device can be connected through a mobile phone, but it can't be used, so I have to remove it first.

I don't have a USB cable, only a mobile phone can connect with it. What's the solution?

Looks like you're trying to install JB4 software onto a stage 1...they are not the same type of piggyback. JB4 allows a bunch of user adjustability while the stage 1 just plugs in and that's it.

Thank you very much. The problem has been solved

Would you like to consult Stage1 default MAP1 for other maps? What is the corresponding description?
