Default PWG jb4 on X1 - 11-25-2019, 05:29 AM

Hi,

Just by mistake I bought pwg jb4, not the one I actually needed.
Is it possible to flash another (x1 compatible) firmware and make it work with my car?

Yes the X1 can use either system.

Try installing it and lets see what happens, and go from there.

Hi,

I have successfully connected the jb4 to the map and tmap sensors, to the fuel rail connector, brown CAN wire to the red bundle, green CAN wire to the blue wire bundle and the black wire to the chassis ground.
The green and brown CAN wires i took from the jb4's obd2 connector, because my jb4 has not dedicated brown and green wires.
On the other side of the engine I could not find a connector for Pneumatic westgate solenoid.
Now I have two questions:
1. Have I connected the brown and green wires correctly?
2. Can you indicate the location of pwg solenoid connector?

btw,
I tried to test the jb4's, but nothing happened when I put the volume down and next song buttons together with turned on ignition

I can't see where the green or brown wires are connected. They attach in the ECU box area, not to OBDII.

Also without a JB4 CSV log can't see what firmware you have loaded.
