I can see a bluetooth device called jb4 r37 in list on my phone but application times out at handshake 5 and no connection then get comms error

I removed serial bt and replugged, checked pins, rebooted app and phone and radios, seeing the device in the BT list under available devices tells me that it is turning when i start the car on but just not connecting.

could this happen from a bad ground on the ground wire?

I just installed mine today, and having same problem on Android. Did you get it working?

I have tried two android phones, both see the device, but get Pairing Rejected by JB4 R37

Thanks Chris at JB4 for the fast response. Turns out i was not supposed to connect in my phones blue tooth but via the app itself.

It's working fine now.

Had the same issue with Pairing Rejected by JB4 R37.
In the app at the bottom of the Gauges screen hit Connect
