Stock injectors will be fine with E85.

Stage 2 LPFP will be required to run 100% e85, even on stock turbos. In addition, if you are making over 430whp and running 100% E85, you will also need PI as the HPFP won't be able to keep up. Stock turbos are capable of 460-475whp, 500 if run really aggressively.

Just finished installing my Fuel-it meth port kit with BMS controller. Not seeing flow on the jb4 meth gauge on my tab. Is there anyway to see it's working? My iats are falling drastically so I know it's working. Still need to do a log. Thx

How does this work with the methanol port injection? How do you prime the system? Does it stay primed? Is there a pause before boost goes up while the pump builds pressure and between shifts when the meth pump is off? Does the controller spray the injectors right away or when certain criteria are met?

To prime the system, you will disconnect the methanol fuel line adapter, purge it, and reconnect it. Then do a couple drive cycles and the system will be purged and stay purged.

Alternately, on our rail you can install a purge line if you wish with the return port.

You are no longer using nozzles with this system, you are using injectors (solenoids) that close completely, so the system stays primed. That is the problem with using more than 1 meth nozzle, the nozzles do not close and the system drains back to the solenoid.

Injection is based on boost and RPMs.

Hi Steve, settings and wires (orange wire) have been verified, and still no meth flow...

Is there something else that needs to be done?

Just double checking here... FuelEn is now the PI tracker, correct? Just installed my setup and while I don't see anything in the meth column I do see numbers that would make sense for a PI setup.

That is correct...to see the meth trace, you will need to set meth scaling to 100 and be running a BMS controller. In addition, at low injector duty cycle that signal may not show up.

Trying to use the BMS PI controller to trigger my stage 3 pump. Negative goes to the orange wire and positive goes to 12v signal?

The orange wire sends a low current +12v signal out to the relay. The JB4 is setup currently to output this signal under any PI flow.

Thanks Terry. I'm going over the setup for the wire harness this morning with Rob from PR. I'm using his pre assembled harness.

Fixed. Once I added the 2-step chip all was well, the issue was I used my MBP which has had some issues logging this data in iOS. Used my PC on the way home and we are in business!

Hey Steve/Terry,

Any updates on possibly getting around to implementing a faster cut-off when a misfire is sensed?

I'm about to upgrade turbos and implement PI, but even though I'll be using the BMS controller, adding PR coils, am up to date on maintenance and have realistic power goals, creating a hyperlean condition seems like something I would constantly be losing sleep over.

It's turned in to largely a non-issue with our current implementation. FYI for manual trans cars we use the clutch wire (part of the NLS system) for instant cut off.

I have finished installed my Fuel-it meth port kit with BMS controller. I have no idea whether the PI work.
I use port injection along with my water/methanol injection kit.and the meth nozzle work good, but not seeing flow on the jb4 meth gauge.

Orange is used to trigger a 2nd fuel pump, blue is not used, deleted off newer units.

In your log you have a meth signal that mirrors the fuel enrichment request signal, so seems like the injectors are being powered up. Whether or not you have WMI pressure behind the injectors we can't tell from your implementation.

This may be a stupid question but I currebtly have the ADE PI setup. I was wondering, could I use the injectors that I have from my ADE with the jb4 controller?

That would be a question for ADE but I believe everyone is using the same connection type.

Where does the esensor plug to in this pi controler/jb4 setup!! Db25 pin 2?
Also I think my st3 relay is confusing... orange on PI controler goes to + trigger on fuel pump relay? And - trigger now connect to ground right?
