Just installed mine yesterday. Shipping was VERY fast, and install was a piece of cake! I did a "blow test" on the OEM valve, and noticed 50% of the time the valve leaked a bit. The RB replacement was completely shut every time! I am confident that this is the valve BMW should have been using from the beginning, rather than a recycled part from who knows where.

Zasquatch your observations are very close inline with my own. Totally agree that this valve performs its function MUCH better than the Mickey Mouse original unit. I'd consider it a must have for those wanting to constantly run big boost or anyone with a higher mileage or older N54.

Good deal. Will get you packed up. One of these left until the next order comes in (hasn't shipped yet as it seems).

Thanks,
Rob

Last one sold. Initials E.F. in case he sees this and wonders.

No more in stock, will be a wait of when the next order comes in... likely a week or two.

Mine still smokes a lot when its already warm and doing a full stop just like before and then 20 sec later stops

Is it possible that I didn't install it right? Because I put the valve in and then screw the plastic cover, opposite to put the valve in the cover and then screw it back?

Other than that I'm happy to replace the PCV as a insurance. Thanks Rob.

Also do you guys think its possible that because I removed all cats(removing the back pressure) caused my turbo seals to fail, in case I replace the turbos I don't want them to fail again.

Doubt you installed it wrong. This part is not designed to fix other things that are broken. Just if the PCV is beyond service life this allows you to service it rather than buying the whole valve cover. Plus this PCV holds boost much better. It also may not allow as much intake valve contamination to the rear most cylinders as it is not as suck happy as the original unit and thus may allow less oil through into the cylinders via the valve cover. It will take miles and miles to confirm that though.

Definitely do not buy this thinking its the cure all for all smoking conditions, but it certainly is cheap insurance on the OEM PCV which can cause excessive oil burning or smoke.

If anyone is at their wits end about their smoking that started AFTER installing full ******* free flowing exhaust and seemed perfect before the exhaust modifications please try my restrictors before swapping turbos. It could help you out.

Those won't mess up with my warranty as long as I remove them before going to the dealer right? In case they don't help with my smoking problem.

Just tracked both in USPS's lovely Tracking system (sarcasm) and just see that they are in route. The Canadian one left on June 7 and the Maryland on June 15.
