Default Plug Question - 05-22-2020, 10:56 AM

I just installed the HKS M45iL plugs. But my dumb self never checked the gap prior to the install. Are they out of the box pre gapped for the JB4 tune. Or do I have to go back in and change them?

Also what is the correct email address that I should send my logs to?

We suggest closing the gap down to 0.022", but the factory plug gap may work fine. You'll find out soon enough!

Thanks for the quick reply. Iíll find some time and re gapp them.

I have the 2020 GT2.
With Ingen Intakes and your JB4
93 Octane and 7 point boost.

I do have access to e85. Just nervous about running it.
Because my wife drives it also.
If I were to leave it in the map that runs e30 mix. When I donít have my phone connected. And sheís not in sport mode. Would it cause harm to the car?

You can run E85 on any map including map1 if you want to leave it mild. You'll still get the octane benefits.

Once a map is loaded it stays on correct? Until I change it?
If she takes it and I’m not around. Running e85 wouldn’t be good for motor under normal driving.
