Default E85 BEF Log Review - 01-18-2022, 02:14 PM

Recently installed new plugs and went with NGK 97506 gapped to 0.022. I'd always used the stock Bosch plugs since I'm still on the stock turbo, but thought I'd mix it up a bit. Threw in some new Delphi coils too for good measure.

With these new one step colder plugs and tighter gap, I decided to give the E85 BEF a spin (had been on the PUMP BEF for a while with no issues). Fuel is 6 gallons E85, rest 91, so about E37-ish.

One pull on map1 and two more on map6 targeting 17.5 psi peak (basically splitting the difference between map1 and map2, so call it map1.5 lol).

Car felt strong and I don't see any obvious issues in the logs, but I'd like some expert opinion.

Map 6 looks pretty clean to me. Timing, AFR's and trims look good. WGDC is getting up there so probably another couple #'s left and then you'll be pretty well maxed out.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm really liking the way the E85 BEF feels.

One more thing: While on a road trip, if I happen to find myself somewhere without any E85 available and must use straight pump fuel, should I :

a) switch to map4 and avoid WOT and any heavy throttle, or
b) bring along my K+DCAN cable and flash back to the PUMP BEF?
