U mentioned it uses the same turbo and the 12v does not add hp just spool, so wouldnt the power be the same as the 2020?

Will post more information early in the week. Power at the wheels. Boost targets are similar to 248/252hp version.

Ok but even map3 30hp gain is not much, was expecting at least 50hp on 94 ....

Looks like nowhere close to 330hp on 93/94, right?

Thats more or less where it is if you factor correction from wheels to engine. If you factor in 15% losses it will be around 345hp or so keeping in mind the car is underated stock.

George, in other words, does the 2021 make more power than the 2020 on jb4?

I have the JB4 for my 2020 macan, I assume I need a new one if I get a 2022 Q5 right? This would be group 16? I have the group 6 one. Also You said the maps are different for this, I cannot find info on the new maps (what octane etc) for the new jb4, or is it the same as in the gen 3 thread?

They have changed the sensor technology on the 2022 Q5 so a new unit will be needed and group 16 is indeed the correct one.

On this we using the following maps.

Map 0 stock
Map 1 and 2 can be used with 91
Map 3 for 93

From then and on you need to submit logs and we can work it up with a custom map.

So they had no cars available for a while, so I ordered a Q5 55e. Any idea what box this engine would take?

My understanding based on literature is the 2022 has a 261hp motor. They also added larger batteries to increase range.
Best bet though is once you get it we can look at the sensors and identify for sure which JB4 will be compatible.
