Exclamation Jb4 Problem with M5 competition - 06-10-2021, 11:01 AM

I have recently installed the Burger Tuning JB4 on my 2021 M5 Competition.
The car has full bolt ons, JB4 and Meth Kit with dual CM7 nozzles.

I have set the JB4 to the default settings.
I did runs on Map 0, Map 1, Map 7 and I have not felt any difference in any of the maps so I installed Dragy to measure 100-200kph times. All runs were pretty much the same on all maps (between 7.2-7.3 secs)

I am attaching the CSV files for Map 0 and Map 7
I will also include the Dragy measurements as well as the VIN number of the vehicle.

Anyone have any comments on this.
The firmware on the JB4 is up to date.

Thanks

Well, your meth additive is only at 25 and your logs are less than ideal for seeing much. I'd suggest doing proper logs and increasing your additive based on how the logs look.

+1 it's running factory boost levels here on that low additive. Log a 65 additive next on map7.

Do you have any other suggestions?
Thanks

Come on....you've been doing this a long time...you can't do a proper log yet?

"For proper review and the JB4 to adapt, please do logs in 3rd or 4th gear from 2K rpms to redline at wide open throttle."

Your FF needs to learn up. Starting logs at 5K rpms does not help with that.

Set FF to 70 and do a few proper logs.

Totally agree…
I was out of town to check up on a friends N54, and I asked a friend to take the log for me. Although I explained him how to do it, looks like he couldn’t do it right. He said couldn't find a proper straight available to take the log so he did the best.
Because I thought he could, I didn’t check the log file and just uploaded it

I will be back in a few days and make sure to upload a proper log file.
Thanks

Here are the latest log files
Whichever map I choose, the boost does not change
It spikes to 24-25 psi during gear changes, and then drops to 21-22 psi and holds it there until redline.
This is the same situation with all the maps, 1 thru 7

You can consider this as an R&D donor. I have many people wanting to buy this car and asking me my opinion about it. Although the car has a lot potential, these problems looking insoluble makes them change their minds. I have been one of the biggest supporter of the Burger family for the last 10 years and I hope to get a solution to this as soon as possible.

I am not sure if it makes a difference or the cause of the problem but this car is a EU-Spec model, therefore it has different cats and limiters

Once you get me a proper log...we'll talk.

I'll post it again to remind you...

"For proper review and the JB4 to adapt, please do logs in 3rd or 4th gear from 2K rpms to redline at wide open throttle."

Multigear logs are fine but quit starting logs at 5K rpms or in 2nd gear. They are virtually useless.
