Default Overboost - 07-04-2019, 01:50 AM

Gday Terry, love your work mate. Iíve run the jb4 in my old stinger and had great success. I have only just fitted it on my new one to check out information. Iíve fitted turbo back exhaust and getting overboost. Can the jb4 help me with this at all?

First step is to do a JB4 log on map0 and lets see what is going on technically.

You need to attach the CSV file itself, photos are not useful.

Terry,

Good morning. Just installed the JB4 and did a trial run in MAP1. I am on V7 not the latest. I still need to figure out how to do the firmware update. That is a topic for another day. No issues that I could feel. If I get a log file may I send it to you so you can confirm that all is well before I move forward?

Tks,

Kevin

Not much to go on. You threw an over boost fault code here? ECU only sees boost as 10psi, doens't add up?

Next stop map2. But since you have a unique support situation with your full exhaust you'll have to email us for further help. Doesn't really apply to the general thread.

18' Stinger GT

Hoping for insight to make sure everything looks good. Stock plugs still. Didn't have time to put the upgraded ones off BMS in tonight. Got the JB4 in with fuel wires and OBD. Stock everything on the car. Will run MAP2 mostly with 93oct. Hoping to do plugs then run 110oct for upcoming track event in Aug. What's a safe map to run for 110oct race gas with no other mods?

Couple logs of MAP1 and MAP0.

Appreciate your insight Terry.

Can't look at all of the logs, but opened a couple map1 logs and they seem fine to me.

Only run unleaded fuel... VP100, MS109, GT-260, etc. Should be fine on map5 with it.

Hey, thanks a ton. Love the JB4. Coming from Chevy with Hptuners changing tune on the fly and logging made easy is so awesome. The bluetooth makes it so simple. Great job on the whole setup!

You can also run E30 on Map5. Just log it and have Terry take a look. I daily on Map5 and E30. At least until I got WMI. Now I daily on Map 8.
