Something weird happened today. I was at about 75mph cruising in 5th, manual mode. I gave it a little more than half throttle to pass someone and when I let off the gas it jerked pretty aggressively. Got a Drivetrain Malfunction for "1F0526 DME internal error: monitoring torque comparison" and hitting the gas did nothing. Tried to clear codes while driving but couldn't. Checked what map I was in and the JB4 said "invalid nap selection" and it magically ended up on Map 1. But when I checked the logs while this was happening it says I was still in Map 6. I had to pull over, restart the car, clear the codes, and switch back to Map 6.
Anyone got any thoughts on this?

Terry any help with this?

Happened again on Friday. This time I was in 5th at 80mph part throttle. Tried to pass someone and got Drivetrain Malfunction, gas pedal did nothing, and JB4 went from Map 6 to Map 1. Why is the JB4 switching to Map 1? Attached are two logs after the map switch.
Quick update. Still trying to dial in perfect boost control. I got the flash settings to target 28psi, and I set Map 6 to 28psi. Its' pretty damn fast. Still need to find a fix for 3rd and 5th gear torque limiters.
Does anyone know why on this particular run my trims flatlined at 25?

I got a kit for myself. EFR 8374 for my M235i.

So I ended up blowing my motor back in January. I windowed the block, snapped an engine mount, bent and split rods, sent another rod into the head, and split a piston in half. So you could say I fully sent it lol. This happened while cruising at 75mph in 6th gear and attempting to pass someone. Heard a large bang, and smoke just poured out of the rear end. The oil slick was a quarter mile long.
Long story short, I had the car towed to Billy Mason. I decided to go for the full build. We had to source a new block. Billy stripped it and sent it off to CSS for machine work to close the deck. Motor is finally done and in the car. Billy is currently breaking it in. I'm shooting for close to 800hp on this setup, and I don't think it will be hard to obtain.

I was running 26-28 daily. Even dabbled at 30psi a few times. Car was stupid fast.
Did a quick pull today on pump gas. She moves pretty damn good for just pump at 19psi. Also had the car lowered on street comforts and it rides and handles incredible.
Back on the streets!! Time to really turn it up and make some big power with that turbo
How far have you turned it up so far?
